A customer opened a bank account in order to invest in a derivatives market. Because he did not deposit the necessary securities, the bank filed to close the account, and leave the customer with a debt of tens of thousands of Shekels. The court decreed that the bank was unable to prove that its actions were reasonable.
Approximately 7 years ago, a client asked to purchase and sell investments in derivatives in the stock market in the Tel Aviv, and for that reason he opened a designated bank account in the Bar Ilan branch of Mizrachi Tfachot Bank.
